We connect the available capacity of our drying lines both with leading European food producers and with smaller manufacturers who benefit from our expertise and modern technology, enabling them to experiment with the properties of dried materials.
At our Batelov facility, we use state-of-the-art contact drum dryers manufactured by Andritz Gouda in the Dutch city of Gouda. Thanks to their wide versatility, this technology allows us to carry out drying in various combinations, depending on the characteristics of the dried products.
Single Drum
When using a single drum, the wet product is applied to the surface of a large drum by means of a dosing roller (applicator). Depending on the number of applicators used, the layer formed on the drying drum can be thicker or thinner. This variant is ideal for processing pasty or pulpy products thanks to the perfect distribution along the length of the drum. The applicator system ensures an even spread of the product across the entire drum surface. In addition, the kneading effect prevents the formation of lumps in sticky materials.
Double Drum
The double-drum variant is often used for products with lower viscosity. The product is fed into the gap between the two drums. The distance between the drums can be precisely adjusted to control the thickness of the layer on the drums. In addition, applicators can also be used on each of the drums.
