The 30th Annual Conference on Animal Feed and Nutrition took place at Prague’s TOP Hotel, bringing together leading experts from the Czech and European feed, nutrition, and agriculture sectors.
Among the speakers was Mgr. Vladimír Mráz, CEO of Mráz Agro, member of the FEFAC Sustainability Committee (European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation) and the Committee for Sustainable and Ethical Production of the Czech Food Chamber, who presented on the topic:
“Circularity and Sustainability – Modern Use of Co-products from the Food Industry”
In his presentation, he focused on practical examples of how by-products from food production – such as those from breweries or distilleries – can be efficiently transformed into valuable raw materials for both the feed and food industries, in line with the principles of sustainability and the circular economy.
