What is the “Golden Ear with a Flower”?

The Golden Ear award is an annual competition at Země živitelka, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. It features several categories, such as crop production, animal production, mechanization, as well as food and processing industries.

Exhibits recognized with the Golden Ear diploma may also be granted the special distinction “with a Flower.” This additional award highlights outstanding contributions to quality, environmental protection, or eco-friendly practices.
