Where are we
Company Headquarters
Mráz Agro and all its sister companies are managed from the company’s headquarters in Blatná, South Bohemia.
Blatná is a historic town in the Strakonice District of the South Bohemian Region, with approximately 6,700 inhabitants. It was once referred to as the “city of roses” — in the 20th century, grower Jan Böhm bred over 120 rose varieties here, a legacy that is still remembered today. The town is a beautiful example of the Southwest Bohemian countryside: with a history reaching deep into the Middle Ages, architecture layered with styles from different eras, a picturesque water castle, and a pleasant park — all complemented by a lingering scent of roses.
Batelov Plant
The Batelov plant is the most modern facility of Mráz Agro. It is the company’s center for drying viscous and fermentation materials, where products such as spent brewers’ yeast are transformed into innovative food-grade raw materials.
Batelov is a small market town in the Jihlava District, located on the border of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. It is known for its historic village square and the surrounding landscape, which is ideal for hiking and cycling. Its main landmarks include the Church of Saints Peter and Paul as well as well-preserved burgher houses.
Červená Řečice Plant
The Červená Řečice plant has been part of Mráz Agro since 2002. The facility produces thermally modified starches, maltodextrins, as well as dried sourdoughs, for example for the baking industry. With the addition of the storage site, it also serves as the main dispatch center for dry raw materials.
Červená Řečice is a small town in the Pelhřimov District with about 1,000 inhabitants. In the 12th century, it was the center of a vast estate belonging first to the bishops and later to the archbishops of Prague. Since the mid-16th century, it has borne the name Červená Řečice. At that time, the town’s main landmark, the original medieval castle, was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau.
