For more than thirty years, Mráz Agro has been dedicated to maximizing the use of resources, especially of plant origin. In doing so, we help food and industrial companies increase efficiency, reduce costs, save the planet together, and meet their climate goals through the utilization of their by-products and waste.
Our activities are based on the food waste hierarchy. This is a six-level pyramid that describes the processes related to food waste—from its disposal to direct prevention. Similar to the general waste management hierarchy, the aim of the food waste hierarchy is to demonstrate how food waste can be minimized and ultimately prevented altogether.

The lowest level represents food disposal, for example, when households throw away uneaten food or when food producers remove waste products. Our upcycling and recovery services help prevent food waste during the production processes of industrial and food companies.
For instance, we ensure the utilization of co-products from beer production not only for green energy generation, but also for animal feed, as well as human dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals.

How Do We Work?
Representatives of Mráz Agro will visit your company and, together with your employees, assess the current situation regarding the management of co-products. We will take a sample of the products, which will then be analyzed in our laboratory. Mráz Agro will propose a solution and present you with fair and up-to-date pricing so that your co-products are properly valued—based on price analysis of alternative products available in your area, the quality results of your co-products, and more.
