Radomyšl Farm

Our family farm is located in Southwest Bohemia, near the village of Radomyšl by Strakonice. On a nearby hill called Saint Nicholas, with views stretching as far as the Šumava mountains, stands the Radomyšl family farm, sometimes also referred to as “Vysílač.” Its name is derived from the 107-meter-high transmission mast that stood on the site until 2004.

We are engaged in primary agricultural production, fish farming, and deer farming, focusing mainly on Dybowski’s sika deer and fallow deer. We manage approximately 200 hectares of arable land, forest, and water areas, primarily around Radomyšl and the Komušín fishing grounds in the Horažďovice region.

Primary Agricultural Production

Everything we do, we strive to do with the highest quality and full commitment. This is reflected in our approach to the land and the machinery we use to cultivate it. We cooperate with modern agronomic companies, regularly attend agricultural seminars, and apply all acquired knowledge directly in the field.

On approximately 150 hectares of arable land, we primarily grow:

• Barley
• Wheat
• Oats
• Rapeseed

Deer Farming

On approximately 20 hectares, we focus on deer farming, particularly:

• Dybowski’s sika deer
• Fallow deer

We cooperate with leading deer farms in the region. Our herd is already among the best in the country, and we aim even higher.

As part of our farming activities, we offer:

• Sale of live sika and fallow deer
• Arrangement of trophy hunting
• Sale of shed antlers

Fish Farming and Aquaculture

Within our farm, we manage approximately 25 hectares of water areas in the Strakonice and Horažďovice regions. We focus mainly on breeding carp, grass carp, as well as predatory fish. In the nearby Komušín fishing grounds, we offer the unique experience of sport fishing at the 15-hectare Komušín reservoir.

We work with leading experts in aquaculture and strive to apply the most modern knowledge in the field, even under our conditions. We are also actively involved in the construction of new ponds. The fish we breed are largely intended for our own consumption, but we also offer sales of various fish species.

Forestry and Wood Processing

As part of our farm, we also focus on forestry maintenance and wood processing. We are equipped with all the necessary machinery for wood processing and also offer firewood for sale. We manage around 40 hectares of forest and other land in the vicinity of Radomyšl (Strakonice district) and Komušín (Horažďovice district).
